Sore to the Maximus

Quick recap of last night!

I had dinner at Panera. Ordered the Thai chicken salad

With this awesome bread (I reeeeally like this bread dipped into the dressing and following by a bite of salad. You would think I’m weird the way I eat my food)

Then I attended a Maundy Thursday service. It was the first time I attended (I didn’t even know what it was at first).

There were many little passages and messages alternating with the different choir groups.

Then we did a hand-washing of our neighbors (the people sitting next to us), which was pretty cool. Then we passed the bread and cup as well. It was the Last Supper (because today is Good Friday).

After the service, Tammy, our pastor’s family, and Mr. Park went to Coco’s. I just got some decaf coffee (that Panera salad and bread really stuck to my ribs).

I got to see what a typical dinner is like with these kiddos. See little JJ standing near the back? He wasn’t there for long. That little ball of energy was climbing and jumping onto the seats.

… but since he prays so beautifully, we were all okay with him bouncing off the walls.

^This made me and Tammy go crazy! He’s SO CUTE!

Haha, when this came out, JJ was going “OOooh! Waaahhhh! OOooOOoohh!” I know, dude. Looks awesome.

[I will eat my dessert at Sunday midnight. I may have to put something like this into my Easter festivities. We’ll see.]

As I was going to bed last night, I felt my inner thighs and entire butt being super duper sore…

… and I like it.

This morning, DANG. I clearly had a GREAT workout yesterday. I am sore from the hamstrings toward the inner thighs, as well as the gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, and gluteus minimus (toward the upper hip area and deep).

So when I sit and stand, I am reminded of that amazing lower body workout and I can’t help but be darn proud. I can’t wait for the next time I get to go out there and squat over 150 pounds.

(o__O  ) Think I can do it??

Oooh! I made a perfect breakfast this morning:

Plain yogurt, one large banana, 1 cup of flax cereal, about 1.5 tsp chia seeds, and huge scoop of peanut butter.

I can eat this every morning.

Gonna get lunch with my friend, Tati! Then maybe I’ll walk Vanna or do some yoga before I go in for work.

Or today might just have a to be a rest day. My arse is complaining like crazy!

What are your Good Friday plans?

Any exciting Easter weekend plans?
