Las Vegas Fun

So as you saw from the earlier post, we went to Nobhill Tavern in MGM Grand last night after dinner. It was pretty much the place I wanted to go to the most.

Why? Because of their happy hour drinks. Each of those cocktails were 6 bucks!!! And they’re made by a famous guy ๐Ÿ˜€

Let me just say… I was already feeling pretty good after the first drink (Marcela). It was uber delicious! The second one was the Moscow Mule… not as good as the last time we went there (maybe it wasn’t the famous mixologist who made it?).

Anyways, we also got to walk around and see the sights! I’m so glad the Christmas decorations are still up… but, of course, you know the real meaning of Christmas, yeah?

^Sorry about all those sparkly sparkles. I have that special effect thing on my camera and wanted to use it in every picture, hehe.

And you saw our suite?

^Yeah. that TV came out of the dresser thing when we turned it on and went back down when turned off.

Even the bathroom is ginormo

As mentioned before, this suite at the Mirage was free for two nights.

HOW? Through the magic of FACEBOOK. I told you how we were playing that MyVegas game, right?

It certainly paid off ๐Ÿ™‚

We actually went to bed incredibly late (for me) last night… 2:30AM. Now if you know me, then you know that’s like 3 hours passed by bedtime. Luckily, I wasn’t a grouch ๐Ÿ˜›

Then this morning, I woke up at 8:30AM without my alarm. Hate how that happens. Oh, well. I was planning on gyming anyways.

At the gym, I ran 6 miles (I don’t remember the time. Nothing crazy, maybe 7 or 7.1 mph?). Then 30 minutes on the elliptical and about 20 minutes of core work.

It was a great sweat session and everyone was awake and getting ready for lunch by the time we got back.

We’re planning on going to a buffet tomorrow, so I’ll probably workout right before it or a couple hours after that. WYNN BUFFET, OMG.

As promised, here is the winner of the giveaway

#7:ย constancenaden:ย Weโ€™re just planning a low-key evening at home this year. Thanks for the giveaway, and those pancakes sound amazing!

Congratulations!! Please email me your name and address atย

I’m kind of saving up all the food pictures for a special Las Vegas food post!

(I don’t drink a lot and I don’t gamble at all, so alls I’m here to do is take pictures of pretty things and EAT, haha).

  1. That is the nicest hotel room I have ever laid eyes on!
One time my friend and I stayed at the Hotel Mac here in Edmonton. It is upwards to over $1000.00 per night (where all the stars stay)…and it looked like every other hotel room I have ever stayed in!
Lucky for us we won the night stay for I think $125 at a silent auction!
I mentioned stars stay there, well for the next night we had tickets to go see System of a Down…the base guitarist was situated in the room directly across from ours! We even got to take a picture with him! Good times….goooood times!

    • How fun! Yes. This was certainly the nicest room that any of us have ever stayed in. It’s so wonderfully spacious and I love that was can do cartwheels in every room… including the bathroom, haha.

  2. wow nice suite!! it would’ve been cool to run into you guys haha.
i think i’ll start playing myvegas now too lol. Enjoy the rest of your stay if you guys are still there ๐Ÿ™‚
