Get all crazy with your hair:
I was bored. Hence… the hair. It’s not perfect, but my arms were in the air so long that my shoulders built up a good amount of lactic acid and they burned.
Sure, buddy. It was kind of fun. I couldn’t tell what the back would look like, but it was fine.
BTW, I have had my hair permed for a long time, and I’m trying to grow it out so that it is not chemically treated anymore. About half my hair still has the perm and the other half is natural.
For the ends/permed part, I like to use Moroccan Argan oil. My brother’s girlfriend told me about it and I have noticed how shiny and soft it has made my hair (even just a couple of days into using it!).
Yesterday, I did a 4.5 mile walk with Joanna at the track (we put in a bunch of stair-climbing, which actually made my hamstrings and butt pretty darned sore).
And then as I was going back home, I decided to go to the gym and do some treadmill running (I hadn’t run since Saturday, a 4-miler in Tahoe).
It was an easy 4.5-miler (38:20). Then I did a four-minute plank yoga video.
I loved it so much that I woke up early this morning to start the day with yoga!
This HardCORE Yoga with Weights Mini Bootcamp video. It was a great way to start the day! I didn’t realize how incredibly tight my hammies were and I definitely need to stretch or do yoga regularly. Running + sitting all day in a chair= hamstrings and hip flexors are contracted and end up being hellsa tight.
So glad that there are videos online for free!
